What Is EPS?

What is Eps?

DEFINITION OF EPS: EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) - Is a thermoplastic insulation material obtained from Hard Foam petroleum. There are many indoor (3-6 billion in 1 m3 EPS) small closed pore cells trapped in stagnant air.

These pores ensure excellent heat insulation. 98% percentage of the material is air. For this reason it is a very light material. Generally it is produced in the density of 10-30 kg / m3. Being one of the best heat insulation materials available in the world, EPS is also preferred because it is more economical than other materials.
